Yippee...Word Art Wednesday time again.  I always smile when it's time to create my post for WAW.  It's an uplifting part of my week. We have a beautiful verse from Karen Murray this week.  Grab it if you'd like it, and plan to play along with us in this week's challenge.  We have some wonderful sponsors.  One of them is a personal favorite of mine!

My samples:

First I want to share the project I made with one of the images from Deedee's Digis, which are all available on my store, Daydream Designs.  Deedee has her own aisle in the store and it's full of delightful images.  This one, Flutter By, is a favorite of mine, because I love butterflies.  The verse made me think of heaven.  We had a very dear friend pass unexpectedly this week.  It was a shock and terrible loss to those of us who remain here.  But it's a glorious victory for Dan because he is beholding the face of God and is now perfected in Christ, reflecting His glory as he worships at the throne.  Just an amazing reality.

I created the image to be large enough to fit in this 6 x 6 frame, matting it with some designer paper, and decorating the frame with this little cluster of Prima flowers and my homemade crinkle ribbon.

I copied/pasted the verse and the image where I wanted them, trimmed the paper to 6 x 6, and colored the flower and butterfly with my Copics.  I sponged some clouds using a cloud template.  What an amazing promise is ours in God's Word.  When we die, we simply awaken to a transformed existence.  We don't really die, but pass from life to life.  You may not be able to see the sparkly on the butterfly wings, but when I think of heaven, I definitely think of very glittery wonders.

Sample 2:

I just added a second project for the fun of it.  I used Stampin' Up dies and punches, and My Mind's Eye papers.  Nothing from my store...because sometimes I just have to delve in to the hugh stash I have stored in my craft room.

Do come on over to Word Art Wednesday for the wonderful devotional, inspirational creations from the DT, and add your creation to the participants who are joining us for this week's challenge.

Set used:
