Blessing Upon Blessing! A Little Mini Album

I've chosen to celebrate St. Patrick's day by focusing on blessings.  There are so many beautiful Irish Blessings, and not believe in luck or coincidence, the idea of the blessing just makes more sense to me.   So I wanted to showcase this Blessing Upon Blessing Flip-and-Fold mini album tutorial I have available in my store.  All the digi papers, blessings, and images you need to replicate the mini album are included in the tutorial.  Of course you are free to add all the fun little embellishments to further enhance your project.

It opens like most little mini albums, but then has a surprise flip-and-fold design that reveals a total of 8 decorated pages.  You can of course rearrange and redesign to use the images in other places to add more of your own or to add photos.  There are still lots of places for those treasured keepsakes.

The best part is that all the images come pre-sized and ready for your album.  Just add a few little buttons, bows or other ephemera, and your album is finished in no time at all.

I walk you step-by-step through paper piecing this little cutie, Carly and Friend, available as a separate set in the Daydream Designs Store. I include the Copic marker numbers that coordinate best with these colors.

Here are the printed pages from the album that give you everything you need to design this album.  But with the photo enhanced, step-by-step instruction you can recreate this using any of your own papers.

 

Add traditional papers for mats, and a few ribbons (I love to use homemade crinkle ribbon using my Stampin' Up reinker for the dye) and prima type flowers, buttons....whatever you want to use to personalize your album.

Here's one of the "hidden" pages in the flip and fold design.  These are so easy to make.  You could make several in a day for adorable little gifts.
