MY SAMPLES FOR DAY 2

I just have to say, I'm really happy with my newest little set, Tweethearts. It's available in both outline and color sets, with a set of papers that coordinate as well.  The pink/white heart paper layered here is from that set.  The card base is Blushing Bride (SU) with a layer of Kiwi Kiss (retired, SU).  I've used simple embellishments--pink pearls, tiny pink rhinestones, and tiny green pearls.

I printed two sets of the flower and the birdie, so I could layer and create dimension. I cut out an extra set of petals, popped them up and flared them a little.

And I did the same with the envelope.  I think it makes digis look more traditional to build in as much texture or dimension to your card as you can.

Here's my second sample for today. It's a 4-1/4" square card, and uses the image from Tweethearts and a 4" square of one of the Tweetheart digi papers.  To give that traditional look I added ribbon, a tag (from Snowbaby Love Sentiments), buttons and pink twine.

All our digitally colored images are artistically colored to have shading and depth similar to techniques used when coloring with Copic markers.  If you want to digitally color our images, you can in most photo editing programs like Adobe Photoshop, and using the transparent PNG version including in the files when you purchase most of our sets.

Hope you've enjoyed today's samples.

Check out the rest of our DT for new card inspirations.  Some of the DT are putting up samples each day of the hop.  So come back right here to start getting all the inspiration you want.

You're next stop puts you on Elizabeth Hart's blog, Warm Harted

  1. Diane,
This is really quite a very 'tweet' set. I think the heart shaped flower petals with the faux stitching effect and the popped up envelope are so endearing and pretty. the black and blue contrast is dramatic as well as 'tweet'. Blessings, Carole
