I'm excited to announce that I'll be designing again for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and I'm so thrilled. I'll be showcasing mostly from Korin's Creative Worship line of clear stamps...perfect for Bible art-journaling. As a matter of fact, I'll be doing a series of lessons in my home with a small group of crafters who want to try their hand at Bible Journaling. So lots of fun things in my crafting world this fall.
To kick off my celebration at coming back to the Sweet 'n Sassy design team, I decided to join in the fun they are having with a Cat Lover's Challenge.
They are accepting any cat-themed creations between now and Oct. 29th. So you still have a couple of days to post your creation and link up for the chance for some fabulous prizes.
Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps will be sponsoring the hop-challenge so you could get your little paw of some of the super cute stamps there.
I actually used one of Korin's digi stamps for this challenge/hop. I didn't have any SNSS cat stamps and I needed to produce quickly so I didn't have the time to order something other than digital. But of course, I LOVE digital stamps so this solution was perfect. I'm not really a cat lover, but when they are as adorable as this furry friend, who can resist?
I just added a strip of designer paper to the left (sponged edges), and used a couple of dies to cut out the image and doily. I colored the image with Copic Markers.
My sentiment is just computer generated and I used wrinkle ribbon I made and added some touches of raffia. The sentiment does describe me...I'm so full of gratitude to God that my thanks is spilling over into every area of my life right now. I'm so grateful to Korin Sutherland of Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps after a long sabbatical while I moved and resettled. She is one patient woman! I'm grateful to be creating with a team of some of the most fabulous artists and crafters I know. And I'm grateful to God for a beautiful place in which to create. My surroundings are totally inspiring every day!
I hope you'll try your hand at a quick cat-themed project. For this one, Pumpkin Kitty, just go to Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, find the Digital Stamp section. This one is in the FALL category. But do look around!
