It seems like all my life I've been a coffee lover. Recent health issues though have forced me to limit my intake of caffeine. At first I panicked--how could I give up my coffee. I've searched for some good teas and I've found some I like, but would love to discover a few more favorites. I'd love any comments on the topic of teas and favorites of any tea lovers out there.
I'm pretty excited about my new Tea Time ensemble. I've created 4 colored sets, 2 different outline sets, a set of accessories, a fun sentiment set and mini stacks of papers that coordinate with each of the colored sets. I'll will be showcasing samples with the tea sets all this week. But please feel free to head to the store and pick your favorites right now. You can see them all HERE.
This card features the Garden Tea Party papers and the image is actually part of the Tea Time Sentiment set. The sketch is part of the sketch challenge going on right now at Just Us Girls.
Here's a close up of the sentiment/image, so you can see the text more clearly. Images from two sets were used to create the composite image used for the sentiment. You can find the tea bag and canister in the Tea Time Accessories set. The cup is from the Garden Tea Party set and the polka dot and flowered paper with butterflies is from the Garden Party Digi paper pack.
Any time is a good time for tea, because tea is a good thing...a very good thing indeed!

What a sweet card! Love the great colors and that fun sentiment in a circle....so cute! It would be a great day for hot tea where I am.....cold and snowy today! Thanks for joining us at Just Us Girls!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute card! I have always been a tea drinker- it is what gets my heart started in the morning- but I like the basics Red Rose Tetley etc. My husband is the tea gourmet. I just bought him some awesome teas from a place called Tea Trekker. The owner travels to Asia to taste and buy tea. They were knowledgeable and helpful to talk to! They shipped fast and I thought they were reasonable for specialty tea. Thanks for joining us at Just Us Girls!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Sue, for the tips. I'll look into Tea Trekker right away. I wish I could go to a tea-tasting place and try them out before buying. I like a naturally sweet tea. Some are so bitter.
DeleteWhat a great card! I love the greens and pinks together and that polka dot heart is so awesome! Thanks for playing along with Just Us Girls this week.
ReplyDeleteLovely card Diane. Sorry can't help you about the tea, I don't drink tea or coffee.

ReplyDeleteYour card is terrific, Diane! Love that pad of paper-pink and green are so great together! Wish I could help with the tea-I love my coffee too. Can't drink as much as I used to, but can't give it up!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us at Just Us Girls!
Hi there, friend! I miss hearing from you and wondering how you are doing? Love your tea sets and adorable card! I don't know if I could give up coffee...but am switching to black tea in the afternoon...but that has caffeine also. My favorite is Twinnings English Tea. And have tried small bags at tea shops of a black with blackberry or apricot flavors...very sweet yet still strong.
ReplyDeleteFabulous colours Diane! thanks for sharing with us over at A Creative Romance Hugs Rebekah xx
