Time for this week's Word Art Wednesday challenge! Our featured word art is so appropriate during the changing season. Karen Murray of PaperCraft Memories who designs our scripture graphics always does such a lovely job and I feel blessed that she also designs for Daydream Designs. Isn't this week's graphic gorgeous?
Please check out our challenge details and the other design team inspirations on our home blog, Word Art Wednesday. Add your inspiration for us and earn the chance to win some great prizes from our sponsors.
The cyclical shift in our seasons is always a glorious reminder of God's sovereign control of our universe. The landscape is redressed in breathtaking color. One of my most favorite things about living in Missouri is the variety of colorful trees in the fall.
Any road traveled brings a delightful panorama of color. I've always loved fall although now I experience some bittersweet memories as fall brings another anniversary of my dad's passing from this life to heaven's glory. Yet fall reminds me too that every season of life has a purpose. We saw God exalted and glorified in my dad's last days, and I know that my loving and sovereign God had it all under control. I can't wait to see the landscape of heaven and all the amazing colors my earth-bound-color-blind dad is now experiencing!
This close up of my image shows how I created dimension on the wreath by cutting out a duplicate image of the acorns and leaves to the side of them. I just popped those up on foam dots.
