Open for Business...Daydream Designs Store!

I'm excited to open my new store today.  Some of you who have been visiting this new blog knew I was starting with a clean slate...new blog and new store. But you will find the same delightfully fun, whimsical designs that are waiting to come to life as what all my valued customers found in my previous store.  PLUS...brand new sets are waiting to come on stage! I'll have several brand new types of products and more surprises coming soon.

I love the web host for my new store.  Simple, clean and so much easier to operate behind the scenes.  I'm loading all the images from my previous store over the next few weeks, while adding some brand new sets too.  I'll still be selling some of my images on two other stores as well.  But today I hope you'll visit...

Later this month I'll be having a Grand Opening celebration with Prizes, FREE  digi images, and more special deals. So watch for that big announcement and I'd love it if you would spread the word.  I'm collaborating again with Kris Breach, who was my digi colorist for my first store.  Now she will be showcasing her own totally adorable sets in my store.  She too operates a store, Imagine That! and will be selling my sets there.  I love the camaraderie and creative ideas we share.

Also part of my Dream Team designers will be returning with me, and I'm so excited about some of the fun activities we have in store for this fall.  Links to their blogs are on my sidebar.  I'm also opening up a new Design Team call so if you or someone you know would like to create projects with my images, go to the DT Call tab on my store home page. All the details are there.

I so grateful to also be partnering with Sue McMahon from McMahon 5 Designs. Some of my sets are being sold in her store and today she's featuring two of my masculine ensembles, Gone Fishin' and Home on the Range on her blog

This card showcases the outline set.  I printed the images on Naturals Ivory cardstock and colored with Copic markers and distress inks. I recolored the sentiment to coordinate.

Always havin' a little bit of "cowgirl" in my heart, I love this western-themed set.  In the sample below, I paper-pieced the boots and just love the flowery look.

In both examples above and below I've used other elements that will be added to my store soon...the library card, book plate background and a variety of tag bases.

Here's a fun birthday ensemble using Home on the Range elements. Lovin' that little boot party favor (I bought the template here).  One of the things I continue to love most about digital images is their flexibility for projects like this.  Because they can so easily be resized...you have a nearly unlimited design possibilities.

For this card sample, former design team member Debbie Foster used the outline cowboy set and colored in the images. The card below is one I made in only a few minutes using the colored set and the coordinating designer papers.
